Holland America flooded room cause unacceptable odor. They attempted to dry the room with dehumidifiers which were very noisy ( go to 1:25, you can hear how loud they are) therefore we had to move to another room with my family ie 4 people in a room that is supposed to be for only 2 people (this is in another video)

Sailing on the Volendam, January 2010. There was a small fire on the ship, with some sirens and emergency announcements over an hour or so. We were enjoying the balmy night and videoing the waves when one of the emergency announcements came over the PA.

4 people forced to live in a 2 people suite on Volendam
Holland America flooded room cause unacceptable odor. They attempted to dry the room with dehumidifiers which were very noisy therefore we had to move to another room with my family ie 4 people in a room that is supposed to be for only 2 people. As you can see there is LITERALLY NO walking room whatsoever. And a cruise is supposed to be relaxing and enjoyable. Holland America is certainly not either of those.

I took this video of the Glacier Bay National Park Rangers boarding the Holland America cruise ship ms Volendam. I was surprised to see how the Serac came alongside the Volendam and while both were moving and how the Rangers climbed aboard.
